Trolling motor foot pedal problem...
Well took the boat out only to discover I cannot plow correct with the trolling motor... It will go left but when I turn the pedal to the right nix. I am going to accept it apart tomorrow simply is there anything I should keep in mind? Anyone had this happen to them before?

What kind of trolling motor? Electrical or cablevision steering?

If y'all had the CFMB instead if the CIB, you'd be able to fix it 
Check the cables on your foot pedal, one may be hanging or accept come off the roller, allowing the head to turn one direction, but non back the other way.

It is a minnkota 55lb. I am sure something came loose inside the pedal..

there is a screw on the shaft, where it swivels, that has come loose and is binding. u need to pull the head and drop the shaft a flake to tighten information technology upwards. add a niggling light grip lock tite to agree. if y'all dont want to taackle it urself take to the claw

Hmm... i will take a look. When I endeavour to turn the pedal right I dont even get any noise or anyhting.. Like it'southward almost not connected somewere. I volition bank check this out tomorrow. Thanks for the input.
